COMING UP
OSCAR MANDAGARAN & GEORGINA VARGAS!

Oscar and Georgina will be our guest instructors and performers this week! Many of you will remember Oscar from Forever Tango and also from Saura's movie "Tango" and know also Georgina as organizer and singer, accompanying Zotto in "Tango x 2". Together them make a terrific team (since 2006). They are passionate in their dancing and their teaching!
Come and see them "in action" this Wednesday at Corazon!
OUR SCHEDULE
At 8pm, join us for a beginner lesson that will help those new to tango get their bearings.
At 8:30pm, there is an intermediate lesson taught by some of tango's best that will help both beginners and advanced dancers to share the floor.
At 9:30pm, the dance floor opens, and dancing continues until 12:30am.
***
A generous buffet will be served, with cheese, crackers, cookies, cakes, and more. Every week we'll be presenting a unique treat for the buffet, so come early and have a taste!
There is a cash bar available with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks when you need to recover from a tanda of milongas.
Later in the evening, enjoy an amazing performance by our guest performers, and then take the floor and dance all night.
Admission: $ 12

THE STUDIO
Dance Studio 101 is located on the second floor of 101 Lafayette Street. We're steps away from the N, W, R, Q, 6, J, M, Z, A, C, and E trains at the Canal Street stop.
The spacious Art Deco venue is a perfect setting for a night out dancing.

NEW TO TANGO?
Always wanted to learn tango but never had a chance? Corazon is the perfect opportunity to experience this dance for the first time and enjoy all the sentimientos of tango in a beautiful Art Deco ballroom.
Corazon opens with a lesson at 8pm, which will teach you how to find the tango embrace, how to listen to the music, and how to navigate the floor so you can dance all night.
It is recommended that you wear shoes with leather or smooth soles. Sneakers, boots, and other rubber-soled shoes are not suitable, as they impede contact with the floor.
Some general guidelines for tango ettiquette are outlined at this British tango site, a little tongue-in-cheek but very useful.
